At Westlands Country Park, near Annan, the shooting ground features up to 100 Promatic traps and 20 stands, with Scotland’s tallest shooting tower (140 feet), English Sporting, Down the Line, Skeet, Compak, driven flush and rabbit. Instruction is available for beginners and experienced shooters, along with a gun shop, bar and restaurant, as well as lodges in the park. Without a shotgun certificate, shooting is only permitted in a lesson with an instructor; book in advance.
