About
At SCHLOSS Roxburghe, in the Scottish Borders, the Country Sports Centre offers clay target shooting on a course within the estate, with introductory lessons on safe handling, dominant eye, stance and tracking varied targets. The experience can be individual or in a group, with equipment rental, and can be combined with salmon fishing on the Teviot river, archery, golf, spa and dining at the resort. Activities by reservation.
ClaysUp Take
Roxburghe's Country Sports Centre makes clay shooting part of a Scottish Borders estate visit, with instruction covering fundamentals before varied targets. Fishing on the Teviot, archery, golf and resort hospitality offer a broader context without replacing the shooting session itself. It is a good candidate for a guided introduction or group experience, arranged directly with the property rather than assumed walk-in access.
